Your Story Can Help Others

For many years this website lay dormant waiting for us to re-energize and re-vitalize. Of course life got in the way, but now we are focused on a new mission. We decided to try to get patient stories, stories that will inform and educate those in our community and beyond who need to understand and empathize more with those suffering with sickle cell. We believe that awareness is the key to a cure!

How can they learn? Just by reading and grasping the struggles that those with sickle cell face every moment of every day. Anyone ever ask you, “Oh you have sickle cell…so what’s that?”

Now we can answer that question and I will promote these posts online through the many sickle cell communities. So feel free to fill out the form below, or you can email me at frittittav@yahoo.com. Send me a draft and any photos you choose to use.

What Makes Your Story So Powerful

These blogs are powerful when published because they give an insight into your life, possibly for others to research and learn from. They are a personal slice of yourself that you are willing to share with the public. I will only use initials or first name in the post itself. This way your personal information will never be disclosed in any way unless you give permission.

Happy writing!
Victoria
